Ian is the Coordinator of the TIER Hub in Recife, Brazil. He is an Adjunct Professor of International Relations at Estácio Recife University, and a Ph.D. student in Political Science at Federal University of Pernambuco. Ian attended the Fall 2019 TIER workshop at Haverford College, and since then has worked to spread the TIER Protocol in the northeast of Brazil through organizing conferences and workshops about transparency and reproducibility. Regional integration, democracy in Latin America and research methods in International Relations are among his research interests.
